School Psychologist (5160)

The School Psychologist provides educational and general psychological testing in order to help identify and evaluate the learning, developmental, and psychosocial capacities and functioning of students, as well as the environmental factors that influence learning and social adjustment, and the environmental and learning conditions that will impede or facilitate student learning and social adjustment. The School Psychologist uses student assessment data to assist teaching and treatment staff to develop appropriate interventions and programs, provides information and consultation to, and works collaboratively with teachers, clinicians, and case managers to enhance the educational and treatment environment. The School Psychologist additionally provides services in functional behavioral assessment, including behavioral analysis, behavioral plan design, and data collection and interpretation. The School Psychologist additionally provides consultation and information to parents, as needed. The School Psychologist provides and delivers services consistent with the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the American Psychological Association (APA) ethical principles and professional standards of practice. The School Psychologist works as an important member of the vocational and transitional services team, and will be administratively supervised by the Educational Director or Clinical Director, receiving clinical supervision from the Clinical Director.
Qualifications:
An earned master's degree, CAGS, or doctoral degree in the area of school or educational psychology.
Currently licensed in Massachusetts as an educational or school psychologist, or equivalent license from another state and clear eligibility for immediate licensure as an educational or school psychologist in Massachusetts.
At least one year experience as a licensed school psychologist, or graduation from an accredited graduate program with at least one full year or equivalent in an educational psychologist internship or externship.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
