Facilities Maintenance Technician (5797)

General maintenance and servicing operation throughout the facility to include but not limited to: plumbing, electric work, painting, carpentry, heating, boiler maintenance, key and lock fixtures, snow and ice removal operations, grounds keeping, preventive maintenance and similar functions; On-Call responsibilities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required; Post secondary vocational training is desired.
Three to five years of qualifying job related experience required, trade experience (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
Experience operating snow removal equipment is required.
Ability to read, write and comprehend safe and proper use of chemicals, materials and equipments used in performing responsibilities.
Knowledge of Massachusetts building, plumbing and electrical codes is desired.
Basic computer skills and/or ability to learn; Must be able to work independently and use initiative to complete work in a timely manner.
Must possess good analytical skills to problem solve while completing a variety of assignments with minimal supervision; must have strong interpersonal skills as the incumbent will interact with clients, all levels of management, affiliate staff and fellow coworkers.
Valid MA Driver's License is required; Proven safe driving record.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
