Cares for groups of students under supervision of the Education Supervisors, Assistant Education Director, and Education Director, by performing the following duties.
Assists the Aide Behavioral Counselor I with behavioral interventions in the classroom.
Transitions students to designated program related activities in accordance with Stetson School procedures.
Responds to student's behavior in accordance with Stetson School's Behavior Management policy and the principles of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).
Perrforms the activities of TCI physical intervention as noted on page five (5) titled, Addendum to Essential Functions Regarding Specific Activities of TCI Restraint Process.
Ensures least restrictive measures of therapeutic physical interventions.
Processes issues and/or incidents with students as outlined within TCI practice and in accordance with individual treatment plans.
Associates Degree in field related to human services; or 6 months experience working in the field of human services with a minimum of Certificate of Achievement from public high school in Massachusetts, documentation of home schooling equivalent to a high school diploma, GED, or High School Diploma. Specialized training or specific skills; student intern experience or volunteer work may be credited toward experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
